And surely, an early principle of medicine is diagnosis. We still have no testing and no way of confirming what long covid is, yet we have pundits everywhere telling us how to treat everything from persistent spike protein, through blood nanotech, to EMF, before anyone has worked out what exactly is harming us.

What (for me) an interesting, off the beaten path, topic of lab animals and do no harm, thanks.

Studying the history of medicine and the current Medical Mafia and its pHarmaceutical goons as I have for many years, I consider the Hippocratic Oath was generally never applied from Hippocrates on. I always called it the "Hypocritical Oath" since as I assume you know, Iatrogenic deaths in most Western countries rank anywhere from the third to first--competing with the illnesses of heart and cancer.

As a Voluntaryist (all governments are unnecessary evils), the medical Do No Harm is our Non-Aggression Principle; and yes, let us grow up and leave the Plantation along with the whips to be used on themselves.

The oathe of " First Do No Harm" is long gone in today's medical field. Covid shined the light on the lack independent/critically thinking doctors. I asked my pcp for a medical exemption to exclude me from getting the dreaded covid vaccine due to a blood disorder. Initially she agreed, then later notified me that all Massachusetts doctors got an alert from the Department of Public Health stating that doctors who give medical exemptions will be subject to a medical review and possibly lose their license. So she withdrew her offer to write it for me. I was shocked and sorely disheartened. Unfortunately, there a far and very very few doctors with courage and duty to their patients. First, Do No Harm will now be in the hands of patients advocating for themselves. I ended my conversation with my pcp by stating what are you and co workers going to do when the next threat states you can no longer treat 70 year olds? Will you obey or will you stand and advocate for your patients?

I’m starting to think, Do No Harm, actually means.

Do no harm to one’s own pocketbook !!!

I have come to realize that probably all animals are like humans, they show multiple emotions and personalities- it's not just about being fed. People used to ask me, 'why do you let your bird fly around the house?'. The answer is easy- because she will be stressed if locked and confined! This is why she never chooses to fly away from my open door or window- she is not just fed, but happy here! I used to have a cat, two dogs, and a cockatiel all peacefully hang around each other loose because they were content and not just fed! Of course I had the time back then to play and engage and train them, but that is what is required. There is no pause button, and having them locked up in cages, crates, or your house, even for an hour, will do them no justice. We need to reconsider animal testing altogether. I am glad we are making progress in this area with organ on chips and other smart tools. These newer tests and models are actually more accurate and reliable.

Well except for having to clean up bird droppings from all around the house that the bird is flying free in, I'd say let it have "fun". My parakeet flew out the front door and that was the end of that. Never to be seen again. That was when I was a child. I no longer have any pets. I'm the pet that my wife likes to put to sleep every night.

Parakeet poops are A LOT easier to clean than parrots, but yeah, that's why I hardly invited anyone over during those years, that, and some people are scared of flying animals.

Outside of the mental difference between humans and animals, which we have to basically assume since we can't read their minds, the crossover of being a mammal has a lot to do with what can or cannot harm us. That is why the anti parasitical medicine Ivermectin, seems to work just as well in a human as in a horses or cow. And why I can go into a feed store and get a dewormer for my 230 pound Great Dane and use it for myself and if I have worms, not have to worry about poisoning myself. We do share a lot in common at the "mammal" level. Since Ivermectin works so well at curing cancer, maybe the truth is that cancer is parasite based as some have claimed.
