I have said this for years. We wonder why so many young people today are messed up and I believe because so many of them are shipped off to strangers to be raised. This is not natural for any human baby/child. They do not know how to articulate their fear and anxiety of being with strangers but the day comes when it manifests itself and we are seeing the result of not only shipping them off to daycare but shipping them off to the federal indoctrination baby sitting centers we call public schools. No wonder the leftists want to end home education, private and religious education. They want ALL kids in the system that will create their future comrades. We are seeing an uprising of youth in support of the lies they are being told about communism. But they will soon find out.....when they can no longer even own anything let alone a house an a car.
Start them off young and they will often become one for life !!!
Talked to a young cashier recently at the store and she was telling me about her four year old son who was put on psych meds because he wouldn’t behave at daycare.
Thinking about that little boy just makes this old man want to cry.
I am certain that the extreme experiences of women going through The Change (perimenopause to menopause, if one really wants to pathologize it) is a consequence of chronically elevated threat physiology. One could use the label "chronic sympathetic dominance" but my roots are in evolutionary biology, so threat physiology is more a propos.
Broken bomes and dad's weren't mentioned, but both are very important too for the best outcomes (on average) in later life. But you can fix yourself up no matter what happened to you as a child and it isn't even that hard if you're committed to doing so.
I think mothers should be able to stay home with their children. My cousin's one year old has not been but sick ever since he was in daycare. Like that baby's body says, I don't want to be here. But of course, with a house built and expensive taste, there is no money for mom to stay home. Very sad.
Doctor, how does one reverse and repair the chronic nervous system imbalances? My sister and I have definitely suffered from the condition you described above, the unstable relationships, the neuroticism, the asocial behavior and substance abuse from early life neglect. Most of the self-help revolves around conscious thought patterns, but I know there is a deeper root to strike at.

A great way to create a legal drug addict.

That is more specific, thanks!
Thank you for this excellent insight and analyses. I feel like I've lived it in recent years ~ a wonderful, healing experience.

I got really sick in daycare, then my parents took me out, maybe because my grandmother freaked out and offered to start taking care of me herself.
