Dastardly Dentists & Secret Cavity Cures
Beware overdiagnosed cavities and learn about how to reverse early cavities.
Consider this story of every day dental fraud:
Many people have woken up to the corruption in Big Medicine, but too many are still asleep to the corruption present in dentistry.
As Warren Buffet’s long time partner Charlie Munger put it: “show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome.”
Dentists, like surgeons, are paid per procedure. They aren’t paid to tell you about Dr Weston Price’s famous 1910 book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration which proved that the standard American diet caused malnutrition, leading to misshappen palates, small jaws, rotting teeth, and compressed sinuses prone to congestion.
They aren’t paid to help you come up with a plan to overhaul your diet, or deal with stress - another big cause of dental disease (and all other diseases).
Chronic stress puts the body in emergency mode, which is characterized by the mobilization of all resources to fight a battle that never comes. Instead of building for the future the body breaks down tissues like bones and muscles and becomes prone to unhealthy, inflammatory visceral belly fat accumulation. In the moouth chronic stress changes the levels of microorganisms in the mouth, the composition and amount of saliva - all of which can make one more prone to tooth decay. I think tension in the neck muscles also plays a role as it creates abnormal tension on the roots of teeth.
Once you do drill in to a tooth it sets you up for a lifetime of repeat drilling as the filling usually falls out in a couple decades and they have to redrill a bit deeper each time they fill it up again.
Most people get started in childhood so have to redrill a few times during their lives and eventually end up with dangerous root canals, that have been shown to be filled with harmful bacteria that damage the brain and heart - a root canal simply cannot be done safely because it is impossible to sterilize fully.
Many a chronic disease has abated when root canals were removed. Unfortunately many a new chronic disease has also been triggered due to replacing a root canal with an implant.
It doesn’t matter how “non-reactive” or “biocompatible” something is, whether metal or ceramic, the body doesn’t like anything foreign living inside it and studies show that every implant leads to some degree of inflammation of the surrounding area including titanium and ceramic ones.
Until we can safely regrow teeth the best bet for missing teeth may be a bridge.
Either way I would definitely avoid metal. We’ve seen too many cases of chronic diseases including cancers starting after metal implants were placed (hip and knee osteoarthritis can be fixed, often very rapidly).
What Can Be Done
An ounce of prevention: as with any chronic health issue, removing the harm is usually more important than adding curatives. A bullet can do a lot more damage than any procedures or restoratives we have for reversing the effects of a gunshot wound.
Similarly removing as many sources of stress as possible will often help more than a special toothpaste. This includes eliminating or mitigating EMFs, inflammatory foods, unresolved emotional issues, being overweight, lack of exercise, poor sleep, etc.
I suspect more harm than good comes from dental cleanings as they remove a ncessary and normal biofilm that includes both healthy and pathogenic organisms. the ones that should be there help drive off the ones that shouldn’t and affect the makeup of saliva. If your teeth don’t naturally feel smooth and clean all the time then it’s usually a sign you’re eating something you shouldn’t be eating - an elimination diet can help you figure it out for your own unique physiology, but it’s hard to go wrong with eliminating grains and other refined carbs to start.
Animals in the wild don’t need dental visits to maintain healthy teeth and neither do most humans if they eat right, exercise, manage stress, sleep well, get some sun and move enough.
On the addition side of the equation there are now topical peptide therapies available at forward thinking dental clinics that can reverse early cavities.
I don’t know much about the peptides, but one of my children was diagnosed with an early cavity and we stopped grains and sweets (including fruit), added coconut oil pulling at night (1 tablespoon of oil with 1ml of gum spirits turpentine mixed in), hydroxyapatite toothpaste and had them put a castor oil soaked wrap around their neck to help them relax at night, and a couple months later at the follow-up visit the cavity was gone.
Another thing that helps is chewing naturally sourced mastic gum. It not only helps prevent and reverse early cavities, it also supports healthy jaw development.
Have you or someone you know ever reversed a diagnosed cavity?

There are alternatives to standard root canals now. I made my husband consider alternatives when he was told he needed one. We went with the “Gentle Wave” procedure which is similar but irrigates the root to destroy the bacteria at the root to save it. So far so good.
I had a bad experience with a root canal. I began having sinus headaches, which got progressively worse over several months, and was even beginning to affect my vision. I went to an ENT specialist, who scoped my sinuses and didn't find anything wrong. He said it's probably the root canalled upper molar I have that's causing the problem. You won't have a toothache since the nerve is gone but it can still cause other problems. I asked how a root canalled tooth could be infected. He looked me in the eye and said emphatically, "They're ALWAYS infected." I had the tooth pulled, and the sinus and vision problems were completely gone in a week.
