I left my pcp of 30 yrs two years ago when she tried to talk me into a Covid and flu shot after she knew I had already had covid and natural immunity and never took flu shots. I was already paying to see a naturopath for my hormones and thyroid so I have turned all my care over to her. Insurance still covers my labs and tests. No regrets.

She’s literally the only one in my tiny town.

Yes yes yes! I’m an RN whose eyes really got opened during the plandemic and decided to leave the unethical employers who want to use me. Now that there is so much distrust of hospitals and their killing protocols for covid and God knows what else, I see the silver lining - a new model emerging - a wholistic one - where we are empowered to heal in the way our bodies are designed. Dr Haider you are truly inspiring in this movement towards real health. I learn so much everytime I open your substack. Thank you so much! And nurses out there - I encourage you to explore functional medicine training and seek out these physicians and nursing organizations who want to make real changes in healthcare(Remnant Nursing, Kim Overton’s, BSN, RN organization for example).

They don't make money if we are healthy. They don't have any incentive to get us healthy. Somewhere is a very secure vault with every cure needed for every disease. There's big money to be made on 'treatments', not cures. Love, hugs, and PERSEVERE yall!

I have seen many doctors leave the practive or retire for the past few years. Replacing with all young doctors who follow whatever is dictated. It is horrible and my friends and I don't even want to go for a regular check up!!! Do not trust any of them anymore. It's sad I had the most wonderful doctor for 25 years and he letf. I had to find another and he has left to! Thankfully I have my go to doc Dr. Haider!!!

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO Dr. Haider!!! What an inspiring article for all of us to grow up and steward our bodies with love and discipline and knowledge. Thank you for honesty and truth. COVID was an eye opener and all we needed was a teacher. You are an amazing mentor. Thank you.

This article is brilliant and a must read by everyone, be it the patient or the PCP! I have this email set as a favorite to refer back to as I’m in the middle of my Master’s degree to become a Psych NP. This is the way we must go to create a win-win healthcare society. The current simply is not working.

My Dentist, eye doctor and my oral surgeon will take cash if you don’t have insurance. Over the years I have saved a lot of money paying cash versus paying for dental and vision insurance.

We need more Doctors to take cash for services rendered just like every other business.

Excellent article. Hope more doctors see the benefits of getting away from big insurance.

I agree completely that doctors just sit and stare at their computer when you make an appointment. They rarely look at your and even if they check your heart, the stethescope is placed for about a second. Then when you look at the "after visit summary and doctors notes", it looks like they spent 2 hours with you! I wish I could afford to be a paid subscriber, Dr. Haider, but I've been a widow for 25 years and gave up a career a few years after my husband passed, to come back to my hometown and care for a learning disabled brother so I never did move on with my career (planned to be a school counselor). I admire you so much and all that you have done for us during covid. I am seeing more and more side effects from the "jab" and so thankful I never got it and hope I will never be forced to by big government. I have been healthier during the pandemic than I was the previous 15 yrs. when I used to get flu shots every year! I haven't had one since 2017 and don't plan on getting any type of covid shots either.

Surgical specialists, playing by the hospital rules is very difficult 😞

Excellent article.

Obviously we invest way too little money in primary Care for it to be effective even under an insurance model but the reason for that are all about profit centers.

One of the real problems seems to be that insurance companies want us to take off a bunch of boxes that are supposed to indicate that we're providing quality care but of course there's very little evidence that that's the case.

I wish you the very best in this endeavor - we surely need many changes. It is a nightmare.

I don’t understand. Someone would pay a doctor $100 a month for what? Access? And if a patient went to him multiple times in a month, how would that work?

I have issues with that model as well. I rarely go to the doctor (only when I have an issue), so $1200/year to be “in the club” seems excessive. I’d prefer a hybrid model so I could pay as I need services - like a plumber would do - not keep a doc on retainer.
