Great suggestions as usual! Especially -- what a difference it makes in our immunity when we eat what supports our particular organism, and get plenty of natural light.

I would add that homeopathy is a powerful tool when dealing with cough. It is important to know what you are doing, and how to select the right remedy -- it is so personalized! -- but I've seen it stop a cough that's been going on for weeks within 12-24 hours.

Good 411. Ketosis / borderline carnivore since July 2019, but notice that when watching a movie if I eat popcorn, inflammation returns quickly, and I tend to have a relapse of covid like symptoms, resolved within 1-2 days w/ strict ketosis / no carbs + .6mg/kg of Ivermectin + Nicotine patches & nicnac.com mints. C, D3, Zinc, and HCQ on occasion. Zero carbs provides the best mental clarity & lowest levels of inflammation.

Thank you Dr Haider.

I raised four sons who never saw a doctor their entire childhoods......I'd always use propolis spray at the first sign of a sore throat and saline nasal flush first thing in the morning and again, right before bed. And tons of Vit C.

Sambucol (elderberry) and NAC are the only two things I've found to thin heavy mucous.

Living in a northern climate, a tablespoon of cod liver oil every morning in the winter for the Vit A, keeps the mucosal membranes healthy. My mother always taught me that people don't pay enough attention to Vit A for respiratory illnesses, and that it's vital to upper air wave immunity. But true Vitamin A really comes from food that people used to eat - like organ meat and cod liver oil.

I found it hard to get a really good cod liver oil and tested all the expensive ones....... and settled on Green Pasture.

But yeah, being able to be in full sun in the winter (I'm in Alaska) would take care of pretty much everything except the twice yearly traditional and healthy spring and fall "clean outs" people have always needed to do.

Thank you for mentioning that now, we're all hyper aware and afraid to be "sick"! Or have a "crud".

Well, fear is awfully good for the banks and the druggists, isn't it.

I hide out in the AZ deserts 🐪 during the winter and try and be outside and in the sun as much as possible.

Also eat keto-voire (heavy on proteins) and keep moving my body.

I know not possible for everyone but the sun to me makes such a difference.... me and the D and a couple of Saguros 🌵

Colloidal silver was a game changer for me this winter. This was a great resource https://indd.adobe.com/view/3e2f312a-b0cc-404c-b72d-0c2cc57b7c29

I have found that the best way to lessen a cough, is to do slightly more of it, but in a sensible way. By that I mean following the advice to patients posted in hospitals. Those who are there for an extended stay are advised to have a light cough every few hours. The reason for this is to take the saliva that naturally collects in the throat, and spray it onto the areas of your throat that become dried out due to the unnaturally low humidity of hospitals.

And in terms of colds, I have found over the years that they are mainly caused by severe stress, compounded by an acute lack of sleep. What I have found is that when you get into that head space of having one of those really bad days, where you feel as though you are so tired you will never make it through the day, compounded by how badly things seem to be going for you, because of all the problems you are currently having and constantly fretting over – that is when a cold will strike.

What my observations have shown me, is that that kind of stress causes me to breath in a much harsher manner, and does the same to my swallowing. What that in turn does, is that it tends to create an area of soreness in the back of my nasal passage, which is inevitably where colds start for me. Or at least did, before I discovered this process.

Because I have since learned to appreciate what is happening. And as a result I am able to relax in a way that causes my breathing and swallowing to return to normal, allowing the soreness in the back of my nasal passage to slowly recede. And even though I used to get one or two colds a year, I have not had one for many years now.

It may sound crazy, but it makes a lot of sense to me, especially now that I’ve been able to make it work for so long. And others I’ve told about this seem to confirm the same process is true for them. Basically, it’s all about realizing you are having one of those day, and then doing what you can to keep that from affecting your breathing and swallowing. That is of course easier said than done. But I know of at least one other person who has been able to prevent colds as a result of doing exactly that.

I forgot to mention in my post that a good Cod Liver oil, of course, doesn't just have Vitamin A, but some Vitamin D.........

And I forgot to thank you for this quote you made, Dr Haider - this sounds so simple but it really can change (almost) everything! Thank you!

“As long as you follow those simple rules of: take a small bite, chew it, and swallow it completely before you reach for the next bite. Just those three rules. And first of all, it'll slow you down so much that you will feel full way earlier and it'll give your body a chance to assimilate and absorb the food properly. I like to optimize your lifestyle and give it a month or two and then see what happens. Almost all the time it'll solve your problem. The problem is that you just have not tweaked your environment enough to send your body the right signals to do the right thing that it needs to do. After a month or two of doing it strictly, you still have a problem, you're having reflux or something.”

Thanks Doc for sharing your knowledge and experience.

My wife and I started CD at the end of December in the middle of what you kid of described. One dose and we were 80% better. Wife had a persistent cough present before for 2 months. Cleared that up also. Haven’t been sick since, on maintenance dose of 6drops daily for >60yrs.

Helps tremendously with inflammation. She had bad knees post double knee replacement. Swelling in her ankles…. Gone

Improved her nails and hair, heartburn….

Same for me heartburn, and joint pain/inflammation…Gone

Who knows about the unseen and unfelt problems😁

Like many things in life, until you experience CD yourself. You most likely think I’m the quack. But after you experience the power of CD, you won’t be able to not want to talk about and share in your personal self-discovery of Chlorine Dioxide, the Miracle Mineral Solution.

My MIL has been suffering from a cough since November. She is already vax injured, (now has absence seizures)so I am wondering if her cough is related to that. It is completely debilitating for her and she was an otherwise healthy active and vibrant 75yr old. She is going to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville next week, but I am not expecting any answers for her. She’s had all the pulmonary testing and allergy testing etc. The explanations she’s received vary from it’s just her age to a burn in back of her throat caused by coughing irritation just needs to heal.

I caught a cough virus on a Christmas cruise. Not vaccinated and usually get sick no more than once a year. This cough was bad and lingered for a couple of weeks. Mucinex helped a little. Inhaling tea tree oil also helped a little. Next time I will try the breathing exercises you mentioned, as I haven’t heard of that before. I definitely had a dry unproductive cough. I also did a course of expired Ivermectin after a week of the illness. I think that may have helped a bit. The cough lasted for almost 4 weeks.
